Hi, Im Jasmine!
I was found at a kill pen in Texas and was in terrible shape. I spent 6 week in the ICU at the equine university hospital where I went through intense treatments for my malnutrition and other problems. Physically I'm doing wonderful but emotionally I'm not. I will be a permanent resident here at City Acres Farm forever so I don't have to go through another move and the emotional trauma of learning to trust again. I am a 8 year old mammoth Jenny donkey and was found at a kill pen with my mom. My feet were so bad that I could barely walk and I was in excruciating pain. Im a 28 year old mammoth donkey and I was found in a kill pen with my daughter Jolene. When I was found I was extremely skinny and losing my hair due to rain rot and a skin infection. I legs were covered in fly strike which also caused an infection. Im doing well and Im now spending my final years here at City Acres Farm.
